This is a charming George I Style burr walnut bureau on stand of lovely neat proportions dating from around 1890.The bureau is of good quality oak lined construction with a delightful warm colour and antique patina to the lovely walnut veneers.The upper cabinet has a good serpentine shape to the sides and concave drawer front and also has an attractive shape to the fall front which is crossbanded and feather banded with decorative walnut veneers.
