We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.

Art Deco jewellery, prominent from the 1920s to the 1930s, is characterised by geometric symmetry, stylised motifs, and a strong emphasis on contrasting gemstones and sleek metalwork.

These rings typically utilized precious metals such as yellow gold, white gold, and platinum, set with natural blue sapphires and old-cut diamonds.

Authentic pieces often display period-specific gemstone cuts, hand-crafted settings, makers marks, and signs of genuine age-related wear on the metal and stones.

An antique sapphire ring pairs well with both minimalist modern outfits to let the heritage piece stand out, or layered with contemporary stacking bands for an eclectic look.

Antique rings should be cleaned gently using warm soapy water and a soft brush, avoiding harsh ultrasonic cleaners, and stored separately in lined boxes to prevent scratches.
