Norwegian Silver & White Enamel Infinity Brooch by Knut A. Rasmussen

A striking vintage silver and guilloche enamel brooch in the form of an infinity symbol. This fabulous brooch is wonderfully styled and is coloured with white guilloche enamel with silver around the edges. On the back is a good fastening pin and next to this the designers mark for KAR, plus marks stating '925 S, Norway sterling'.

Rasmussen produced his pieces in Oslo and died in the 1950's. He produced very unusual modernist jewellery and was very much a forerunner in style: his jewellery is admired and very collectable.

Great for a collector of Norwegian jewellery.  Unusual brooch and in very good condition, other than some very slight wear to the gilding on the reverse.

Period: circa 1940's.
