Vintage Scandinavian Silver & Enamel Rose Brooch by Aksel Holmsen

1940 - 1960
Description

A pretty floral enamel brooch by the Norwegian silversmith Aksel Holmsen.  The silver gilt brooch is circular in shape and decorated with white guilloche enamel with a beautiful pink rose with green leaves in the centre and golden accents surrounding the centre.  On the reverse you can find the marks for the renowned Norwegian jewellery designer Aksel Holmsen, and 925S showing the brooch is in sterling silver.

Condition:  In super pre owned condition.

Period:   Mid century.

&bnsp;

Measurements:  Height: 3.2 cm       Width:  3.2 cm     Weight:  8.6 grams
