Description

An antique Persian Qashgai Khorgeen Saddlebag Circa 1930, approximately 3' x 2"10'. This double saddlebag has flat woven panels with brick lattice fields of octagons flanked by barber poles and borders of reciprocal stepped motifs. The reverse with two stepped diamond medallions and zoomorphic devices. A hand knotted saddlebag with rows of looped fastenings to the opening on both bags. Dense flat woven quality wool, of robust construction.

A quality saddlebag, in good condition and ready for use.

This saddlebag measures approximately 54.5 cm long including fringes, and 91 cm wide.

One stitched repair to the folded middle section of the saddlebag. Vacuumed, deodorised, and treated for moth prevention. Clean and ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
