In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the 1910s.
It stands on three paw feet with lions head mounts. The jug is stylish and good quality and it weighs approximately 156g.
It is clearly hallmarked on the base for Sheffield, 1914, Joseph Rodgers & Sons.
It is in very good condition for its age. There are some faint surface marks and minor dinks signs of age and use but nothing detrimental and it displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
