In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
They are both clearly hallmarked for London, 1762 although the maker's mark has worn. They are a good large size and the pair weigh approximately 1217g.
They are in very good condition for their age. There are no major damages and they display beautifully. There are some faint surface marks and small knocks and minor dings commensurate with age but nothing detrimental. They have been gently cleaned and polished and are ready for use.
