Description

An absolutely stunning Lemonade or Water Jug made from beautifully etched glass and silver plate and dating to the late Victorian or early Edwardian era, c.1900.

The automated lid is weighted sot when poured, the lid opens which is signed Tofts Patent with a large "M" in the centre, this would relate to the lids design itself. The silver plated collar and lid are beautifully engraved and the glass beautifully decorated with foliate garlands.

A good quality heavy piece in excellent condition measuring 7 3/4" tall with a base diameter measuring 4".
