Magnificent Winfield Kingsize Bed

This Winfield bed is a stunningly beautiful example of peak bed craftsmanship of the era. Elegant flowing lines make for a more sensual feeling panel decoration. A fabulous central Fleur-de-lys gilded brass decoration sits centrally on the head and foot, with further gilded brass in foliate shaping. The foot has further detail seen in the twisted brass posts with hammer chased and repousse patterning.

Professionally restored with all joints checked for a solid and secure fit. The siderails have been adapted to be able to take slats or a bed base.
 
Whole frame shot blasted and primed prior to hand pant finish in Little Greene’s Portland Stone colour, gently dark waxed and buffed well to protect and give a gentle shine.
 
Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height.
