Description

An extremely good quality French Victorian period brass extending fender surmounted with fine quality bronze lions to either side with floral leaf rosette mounts and bronze central pole.

The fender extends from 40 ½ inches to 54 inches wide to suit different size hearths.

The brass has been lacquered to prevent tarnishing.

Height - 23 cm (9 inches)

Width - 103 cm (40 ½ inches)

Depth - 9 cm (3 ½ inches)

Circa - 1870 - 1880
