A superb good sized high quality English antique solid sterling silver cigarette case. It is hallmarked for Chester 1918 with the maker being J & R Griffin Ltd. It has been beautifully made being engraved with a leaf design and the cartouche engraved with initials, possibly WTH entwined - so also TWH HTW WHT THW or HWT. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures over 3.5 inches (9.1cm) square and weighs 104 grams. A super quality example.
