Paste Set Austro Hungarian Bracelet C. 1860'S Tested 850 Grade Silver

A gorgeous ornate paste set Austro Hungarian bracelet dating from c.1860's. The bracelet is very prettily fashioned with fancy sections: some set with a single pink stone; the alternating panels with a central green stone flanked by two smaller pink stones with pearls to each end.

The bracelet tests as 850 grade silver and the bracelet has a warm gilt finish.

Each section has a loop link with an embossed floral motif and the clasp is fashioned as a bar studded again with pink paste and pearl decoration. The push fastening works well and a fine safety chain is also attached.

 

The combined effect of the silver gilt the bright paste and seed pearls is extremely pretty and this truly is a lovely antique bracelet in the continental style.

Marked with an oak leaf and KT to the clasp but maker not identified.

 

Condition: One of the seed pearls near the clasp is chipped - please refer to the photos. Aside from this flaw the brooch is in lovely condition.
