19th Century Mahogany Inlaid Chest Of Drawers

A fine quality mid-19th-century bow-fronted chest of drawers, crafted from beautifully figured solid mahogany with elegant inlays, dating to circa 1850. The rectangular caddy top is accented with rosewood crossbanding and satinwood stringing, adding a touch of refinement.The chest features two short drawers above three long graduated, cockbeaded drawers, all oak-lined and fitted with their original brass handles. A shaped apron below adds to its elegance, while the piece is supported on splay bracket feet.This chest boasts a superb original colour and patina, making it a striking and functional example of 19th-century craftsmanship.
