Antique Silver Vesta Case

1900 - 1920
Description

A fine example of a small antique Sterling Silver vesta case. It is decorated all over with a pretty wavy pattern around a vacant cartouche on one side. It has a hinged lid and a ribbed base for striking.

It is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham, 1905, Jones & Crompton

It is good quality and well made, weighing approximately 25g.

It is in good condition with a clear hallmark. There are no major damages and it displays well. There are signs of age and use and some faint surface marks but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.

Height : 2" / 5cm

Width : 1 1/2" / 4.5cm
