Silver Tea Strainer with Stand Hallmarked Birmingham 1946 Adie Brothers

Description

A super vintage solid silver tea strainer and stand. The interior of the strainer is neatly pierced and a circle of star shaped holes amongst the regular round piercings is a nice detail. The bowl itself is in plain polished silver. Two handles with heart shaped tips and curling pierced decoration provide the main decoration.

A simple yet attractive tea strainer; and a wonderful gift for a tea lover! In really lovely condition.

 

Hallmarks and maker's marks: Birmingham 1946 by Adie Brothers.

 

Measurements: Width of strainer handle to handle: 10.3 cm.

Diameter width of strainer : 5.7 cm. Height: 2.8 cm. Weight 58.5 grams.

All measurements are approximate.
