Antique Silver Milk or Cream Jug

1900 - 1920
Description

A good example of an antique Sterling Silver milk or cream jug. It is a small bulbous shape with an elegant scrolling handle, beaded rim and three hoofed feet. The jug is stylish and good quality, weighing approximately 137g.

It is clearly hallmarked for Levesley Bros, Sheffield, 1915,

It is in good condition for its age. There are some faint surface marks and signs of age and use but nothing detrimental and it displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
