Stunning Antique Silver & Blue Enamel Miniature Pendant Mirror Birmingham 1922

A stunning antique silver oval miniature mirror decorated on the back with the most beautiful deep blue enamel. The guilloche enamel is very finely detail in geommetric and waved patterns that catch the light giving an almost 3d effect. Simply stunning!

This beautiful mirror has a loop at one end, and increasingly these miniature mirrors are worn as pendants.

 

Condition: The mirror is in lovely condition aside from a small chip to very edge of near the rim. This is not very noticeable and the rest of the mirror surface is in super condition with no wear or scratches to the surface. There are two scratches to the enamelled surface, only noticeable in certain lights and not detracting from it's decorative impact.

 

Hallmarked on the handle for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1922. The makers mark is indistinct.
