Technical Description
A wonderful Victorian Cranberry Glass and Silver Plate Claret jug dating to c1900.
Very much in the form of an elegant Amphora with a ribbed cranberry body. it has a silver-plated cap with a poring rim to the front and a flip lid. An elegant leaf handle to the rear. Circular clear glass, fully marked SP&Co. who were a Shefield Plate and Silver maker in the late 19th century.

The silver plate is in excellent unrubbed condition, no chips cracks ore restoration to the glass which is also clear and clear internally.
