A stunning Victorian antique gold and agate knot brooch. Made in Scotland around 1880. It is unusual to get a knot style brooch in gold as most are in silver. The brooch has a typical Victorian C style clasp with the long pin so often seen on brooches of this age. Although there are no hallmarks it has tested as a high grade gold. The brooch and stones are in excellent undamaged condition. A wearable and collectable piece.
