Beautifil Eastern Solid Silver Cigarette Case C1920-40 Bird Antique 173g

Description

A beautiful solid silver Eastern cigarette case. It is hallmarked with Persian silver marks and tests as 840 grade silver. I would date it to c1920-1940. It has been beautifully hand made being engraved and chased with a mosque and birds. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It is sprung so automatically closes. It measures 4.75 inches (12cm) long by 3.25 inches (8.1cm) wide and weighs 173 grams. A superbly designed beautiful example.
