Antique Heart Shaped Silver Toast Rack Hallmarked Birmingham 1911

A pretty solid silver toast rack for four slices, the rack comprising of five heart shapes with a neat circular handle on the top. It sits on four sturdy ball feet and all of the edges are nicely rounded.

 

The toast rack bears hallmarks for the Birmingham Sheffield Assay Office with a date mark for 1911 and Lion Passant indicating sterling silver. (The makers mark is worn but could be S & B.)

It is a nice size with clean lines in a classic style that works well for antique or modern interiors. It would make a lovely valentine or wedding gift.

Condition: This toast rack is in great antique condition.
