Woodbridge Antiques has dated this piece to the 1950s.
These earrings were made by OPRO Produkter, founded in 1945 by Ole-Petter Raasch Olsen, and date from c.1950's. Both earrings bear the OPRO mark on the reverse and are also stamped 'Norway Sterling'. They are stud earrings for pierced ears, which is quite unusual for Norwegian enamel jewellery of this period when ear clips were most common.

Very desirable and collectible, and in lovely vintage condition, these earrings will have great appeal for lovers of butterflies and mid century Scandinavian jewellery.
