A beautiful very impressive pair of Georgian sterling silver gilt candlesticks. They are hallmarked for Sheffield 1825 with the makers marks being those of John Watson. They have been beautifully made having a Rococo style of scrolls and acanthus leaves and are completely gilded. They are in outstanding condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. They measure approx. 4.5 inches (11.6cm) wide across the base by 4.25 inches (11cm) tall and combined weigh 630 grams (the bases will be weighted). A superb clean early pair.
