Antique Ersari Turkmen torba with star in octagon design.
 
Circa 1880.
 
A very good torba with a well drawn example of this classic Ersari design. The colour is a soft orange / terracotta red, dark and light indigo blues and ivory highlights. There are the remnants of the original tassels.
 
The torba is in good condition with slight wear and good pile, it has a very soft floppy handle.
