Penderyn Antiques has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
This is flanked by two towers of two small drawers, each with brass handles. The antique oak pedestal desk has an inset green leather writing surface above an arrangement of four drawers which open to reveal a shelf over three filing compartments. The right hand side pedestal has an arrangement of a double drawer over two single drawers, each with brass drop handles. Raised on shaped bases with eight cabriole feet. Wonderful colour and patina throughout.

CONDITION REPORT:
In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches throughout the writing desk, especially to the tops of the banks of drawers (pictured). However, the writing desk remains in structurally solid condition. A great example.
