Victorian Mahogany Post Master's Desk

Description

A rare opportunity to purchase a genuine Post master's desk from a post office in Yorkshire.

Made around 1860 and used as a desk in the postmaster's office.

The top section has a large array of pigeon holes, the middle section has a secretaire drawer and leather writing area. The bottom section has six sliding drawers and a kneehole.

A most interesting piece .

The condition overall is good. We have made no attempt to polish it.
