This exceptional, fine and impressive vintage necklace has been crafted in 9ct yellow gold.
This necklace displays a stunning and large feature claw set oval faceted cut citrine, encompassed with a concave fluted border incorporating eleven impressive pearls.
The substantial gold necklace creates a cross over tassel design and composed with a multitude of links composing a ribbed paralleling design.
Each tassel terminates with a linear array of five individually claw set round faceted cut citrines, completing the design.
The tactile, textured gold necklace secures to the reverse with a hallmarked push fit clasp, and benefits from the added security of a hinged catch.
This large citrine necklace is hallmarked to the reverse of the clasp with the maker''s mark, the 9ct gold mark (9, .375), the London Assay Office mark (leopard''s head) and the date letter for 1957 (b); the tongue also bears the corresponding 9ct gold mark (9, .375).
