Vintage Silver & Enamel Flower Brooch by Bernard Instone

A delightful vintage silver & enamel flower brooch by Bernard Instone. Styled as a flower with four petals in deep blue enamel with a white and blue centre. Two green leaves sit below this at on a curved stem. The enamels are nicely shaded with an iridescent finish that glimmers in the light.

A lovely cheerful vintage brooch with a jaunty air, in a perfect size to catch the eye.

 

Marked Silver B.I. for Bernard Instone, a well known and collected designer and maker working from the 1920's through to the 1960's. 

Measurements: Length: 5.7 cm  Max. width 2.1 cm Weight: 6.55 grams.  All measurements are approximate.

 

Condition: In very good vintage condition.  The pin is nice and straight and the hinge and fastening all work perfectly.
