In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the 1910s.
There is a faint date engraved on the front '1916' and initials on the lid W.C.S.R.
It is hallmarked for Birmingham, 1913 although the makers mark is worn.
It is in good condition for its age and displays well. There are some signs of age and use, some general surface marks, a few light scratches and minor dinks and dents but overall it displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.

Base Diameter : 3 1/2" (9cm)
