A quality set of a Victorian brass fire irons or tools c1870. The set comprises a coal shovel with a sumptuous shell shape at the joint leading to a wide outswept shovel; a pair of tongs with scrolled theme below the handles and scallop shape pincers; and a poker with a cast steel tip. The handles are a matching baluster shape. In very good condition, with a solid screw connection from the hovel to shaft, and well connected tongs.
