Crescent China refers to bone china and porcelain produced by George Jones & Sons at the Crescent Pottery in Staffordshire, England, operating from the mid-nineteenth century onwards.

These items were constructed from fine translucent bone china, featuring transfer-printed base outlines or freehand enamel painting, sealed with clear glaze, and detailed with burnished gilding on scalloped rims.

Authentic pieces generally display a backstamp containing a crescent moon symbol, often accompanied by the manufacturers initials or name, alongside hand-written painter marks and pattern numbers.
