Vintage Silver & Enamel Wreath Brooch by Bernard Instone C.1920-30's

Beautiful vintage silver & enamel floral wreath brooch. A circle of silver is festooned with small green leaves and five petalled flowers in pretty shades of green, blue, pink and yellow. There are a few pierced openings in the silver enhancing the relief effect of the enamels.

 

Marked Silver B.I. for Bernard Instone, a well known and collected designer and maker working from the 1920's through to the 1960's.

Period c 1920's-30's

Measurements: Diameter 4.1 cm Weight: 10 grams

All measurements are approximate.

 

Condition: slight wear & fading to the enamel in places, however the overall effect is still beautiful. The pin is nice and straight and the hinge and fastening all work perfectly.
