Great quality antique pottery butter dish with a silverplated cover and stand. The subtle colours of the decorated dish are enhanced by the brightness of the silverplated stand; the silverplate is perfect, as is the pottery dish which, for the sake of clarity, has a light hairline crack to the inner glazing (not the pottery itself.) Charming.
