Description

Larger than the norm, this is good grand size, measuring 1 7/8" (excluding bale) x 1 1/8" while closed or 3 1/8" while opened.

This English Magnifying eye glass is mounted with a thick tablet of antique tortoiseshell on either side. The front is inlaid with an intricate silver pique inlay.

It would wonderful on a long gold or silver chain and worn around the neck.

Dating to around 1900, it remains in excellent condition.
