An Elegant Georgian Silver Letter Opener/paper Knife

An elegant silver bladed letter opener from the Georgian Regency period. This stylish example has a shaped mother-of-pearl handle, with a shaped finial and a hallmarked silver blade. The smaller proportions suggest that perhaps it was for a Lady and the early Sheffield hallmark, makes it especially interesting to collectors. A fine piece and a great gift idea. Dimensions below.
