Impressive, well proportioned English silver plate Corinthian column oil lamp base, circa 1890
High quality, silver plated nickel, EPNS , unmarked.
Silver plate surface lightly worn but still very presentable.
Later converted to an electric table lamp.
Height to top of bulb holder 25,1/2'' or 65cm, weight 4.9 kilos
Drilled, wired and fitted with switched BC BS22 bayonet cap bulb holder, on darkened brass baluster extension mount.
Heavy build throughout, all in excellent condition.
Shade not included.
