Antique Rosewood Ladies Writing Desk.

Description

A small pale rosewood ladies writing desk. The top with brass gallery above a shaped fall inlaid with flowers which opens to reveal an interior with original leather writing surface, three drawers and a sliding well. It stands on cabriole legs with ormolu mounts on the knees and sabots on the feet. It is finished on the back so can go freestanding. Good original colour and condition, it is English in the French style and is dated 1870.
