A George II walnut knee hole desk, raised on bracket feet and with one long and six short, oak lined drawers with brass handles (19th century replacements) and a figured top, which has feather and cross banding. The desk has a lovely mellow colour and waxed patina and is in very good condition. 790mm high, 910mm wide and 570mm deep. English. Circa 1730.
