Magnificent Pair Silver Plated Mounted Cow Horns C1900

1900 - 1920
Description

These are a pair of magnificent mounted cow horns. Standing on circular ebonised bases. There are two naked cherubs or putti holding a leafy cornucopia. They have a band of leaf and berries around their head. The large cow horns are supported with a circular band of grapes and leaves. The same around the top with decorative lids. The base of the horns car capped. c.1900 British made. These are sold in original plate with no wear. These can be dismantled for ease of packing.

Height: 67cm (26.5")

Size of horns are approximately 56 cm (22")
