Stunning Antique English Silver Plate Salver / Platter - Ferns C.1880

Description

A wonderful and heavy Victorian silver plated salver, beautifully decorated with all-over Fern decoration and a raised border with a foliate engraved decoration. The centre has a decorative initial F engraved.

It stands on three handsome Lion's paw feet. The underside is hallmarked with the makers initials T.W into an oval, together with a couple of other figural marks, I am uncertain of this silversmith's identification.

Excellent condition, measuring 12" in diameter.
