Fine Pair of Silver Hexagonal Column Candlesticks Hallmarked Birmingham1968

A lovely pair of vintage silver candlesticks elegantly styled with straight hexagonal columns and circular bases and tops. The tops are solidly made with a ribbed and stepped circumference, tapering smoothly to meet the columns with a circular band. The round bases are slightly stepped with more of the ribbed pattern, nicely balancing the holders.

 

It is a lovely classic design; not overly fussy yet with enough detail to create impact and shine on the dining table or mantlepiece. A wonderful and practical gift for a wedding or anniversary.

 

Both candlesticks fully hallmarked for hallmarked Birmingham 1968 with a makers mark, L D & Co. The bases are covered in green baize.

Condition: in super vintage condition. The baize has some light staining as seen in the photos.
