Woodbridge Antiques has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
This detail creates a fantastically reflective interior. The bowl has a pedestal base with a rounded rim and two looped handles which branch out at the top, tipped with leafy motifs.

The bowl has a good weight to it and is of lovely quality. It would make a super sugar or bon bon dish, and has the proportions to make a splendid sporting trophy.
Condition: In superb antique collectors condition.

Hallmarked James Wood & Sons, Birmingham 1908 on the outside of the bowl.
