Woodbridge Antiques has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The sides are in smooth polished silver and the back and stand are made of a dark ebonised wood. The frame is glazed.

A very smart frame indeed, and a super gift, especially for a wedding or anniversary.
Hallmarked along the edge as sterling silver, Birmingham 1933, with the makers mark for Charles S Green & Co Ltd.

Condition: In good vintage condition. There are a few very minor dents to the sides and one tiny dent to the bottom front edge. There are a few marks to the wooden back where it faces the front, not seen once a photograph is place. The back stand hinge is slightly loose but working well and fully supporting. (All of the above are very minor issues and mentioned purely for accuracy.)
