Description

Superb Victorian walnut writing desk / library table in original antique condition. The rectangle top with thumbnail moulded edging has the original tooled leather inserted writing surface. The two drawers in the frieze run smooth, constructed with dovetail joints and have decorative brass pierced back plates and handles. Supported by four beautifully carved turned tapering columns with reeded decoration standing on a platform base with carved ends united by flat stretcher. This is a solid desk in excellent antique condition with rich colouration and patina. This stylish desk will be the perfect addition to any home/office.
