Asprey Boxed Sterling Silver Note Pad Holder Pencil Set 1946 Rare Antique

Description

A superb rare English solid sterling silver pencil and note pad set. The pad holder is hallmarked for London 1946 the maker being Asprey, the pencil is dated 1939 the makers V&J (they fit perfectly so I suspect the pencils were bought in with their being post war shortages). The set comes with three pads (two spare) and a silver plated pencil lead holder complete with leads. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs, looks unused. The pad measures a touch under 3 inches (7.2cms) long. A very unusual set.
