Fabulous Vintage Daisy Silver & Enamel Brooch by Aksel Holmsen

1940 - 1960
Description

A gorgeous large daisy brooch by the Norwegian silversmith Aksel Holmsen. An unusual and striking floral design with white enamel petals and and yellow enamel centre, all finely detailed to look just like a daisy.

 

The back of the brooch has a gilt finish and bears the marks for Aksel Holmsen - Norway Sterling 925s. There is a good fastening pin on the back.

A dazzling brooch with real impact - great for a collector of vintage Norwegian designer jewellery.

 

Condition: Super pre-owned condition.

Period: Mid century.

 

Measurements: Height: 5 cm Width: 5 cm Weight: 15.8 grams

Weights and measurements are approximate.
