Rare Large Chester Hanau Sterling Silver Shoe Dish 1896 Novelty Antique

Description

A rare super quality good sized German Hanau solid sterling silver shoe. It is hallmarked with German Hanau marks along with the English imported marks for London 1896 with the importer being William Moering. It has been superbly designed being in the form of a shoe decorated with scrolls. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes distortions and repairs. It measures approx. 4.75 inches (12.2cm) long by 1.5 inches (4cm) wide by 2 inches (5.6cm) wide and weighs 80 grams. A high quality rare and unusual example.
