Rare Sterling Silver Combination Sovereign Stamp Vesta Case 1909 Antique

1900 - 1920
Description

A superb rare English antique solid sterling silver combination sovereign case, stamp holder, and vesta case. It is hallmarked for Sheffield 1909 with the markers mark being Walker and Hall, the sovereign holder is hallmarked for Chester 1909 (simply assayed as components at different assay offices before being assembled). It has been superbly designed and is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It works great and whistles well. It measures approx. 3.25 inches (8.2cm) tall including the loop 1.5 inches (3.6cm) wide and weighs 38 grams. A superbly made rare piece.

The Silver Squirrel has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
