Danish silver gilt and white enamel brooch. 1950s. By Bernhard Hertz, Copenhagen 1893 - 2007.

The Daisy is the Danish national flower, and when the now retired Queen Margrete was born and christened in 1940, her mother Queen Ingrid was presented with a Daisy brooch to commemorate the event.

This delightful brooch measures 3.6cm diameter. Weight 12.3g. Perfect condition.
