Silver Trinket Dish with Floral Decorations Hallmarked Sheffield 1963

A pretty vintage silver trinket dish with floral decorations hallmarked Sheffield 1963.

The dish is square in form with a gently waved edge and rounded corners. The edges slope inwards gently to create a shallow dish - perfect for after dinner mints or as a pretty pin tray for a dressing table. A very finely engraved floral pattern decorates the interior in a circular symmetrical motif.

 

Clear hallmarks are stamped on the inside for the Sheffield Assay office with a date mark for 1963, the Lion Passant indicating sterling silver and the maker's mark of Travis, Wilson & Co Ltd.

 

Condition: in good vintage condition with just a few surface scratches to the centre.

This silver dish would make a lovely gift for a wedding or anniversary.
